Astrid is a wind witch and works at a potions shop at the so called "dawn market". When she has to steal a magical relic from the curse collector Tristan, the said relic gets broken and they have to work together to fix it...(still wip)

Other than the rest of the wind witches, who are gentle and peaceful personalities, Astrid is quite cheeky and short-tempered. She’s very hard-working and quite a perfectionist, especially when it comes to her potions. She also has issues with trusting people because she's scared of being rejected like it happened to her in the wind circle. She's still kind to others, has big empathy and feels for other people a lot and tries to understand them.

Backstory · · ·
Astrid grew up as an only child with her parents in the fictional town Ansburg. She was a rather energetic child and loved to help her father with spells and potions. Her mother is non-magic and Astrid still loved to help her with non-magic tasks like cooking & baking.
When her magic manifested when she was around 7 years old, she was sorted into the wind circle. Due to her fear of heights it was hard for her to keep up with the other witch students. Astrid always felt like an outsider, as she never wanted to be a part of the wind circle. She always preferred to be a water or fire witch instead. As she didn’t have many friends, she mostly spent her time with her familiar cat Holmes and also with one of her mentors Orpheus (who was also a close friend of her parents) Longing to finally belong to something, she even agreed to help some water witchers to steal a book from the library of the great coven. She got caught and almost got expelled from her circle, if not one of the wind witchers, Constantin, stood up for her and prevented it.
She and Constantin became good friends after that and even almost started dating...

Her best friend Emilia lost her memories after a break-in at the shop for magical artifacts of her parents, which made her even forget about Astrid and their relationship. After doing some research and with the help of her friend Orpheus Astrid finds out about the curse collector Tristan, hidden in the forests near the midnight market, who's in possession of a powerful relic, which is said to perform miracles. It might be powerful enough to bring Emilia's memories back. To help Emilia, Astrid tries to steal that said relic, which doesn’t work as expected…

After they started working together to fix a broken magic relic, they got to know each other more and Astrid had to realize that she developed feelings for him. At first she was very confused about it, as it felt different than her crush(es) before. Although they had a rough start and argued a lot in the beginning, they started caring deeply for each other in the end.
Orpheus is more of a friend to Astrid than a mentor. He already taught her reading tarot when she was a child. He spent a lot of time at their home, as he is very good friends with Astrid's father.
Emilia is Astrid's best friend. Although Emilia did not inherit any magic abilities from her parents, they are still equal friends, who would do anything for each other.
Astrid knows Constantin from their apprenticeship at the wind circle. He was her first crush. But when she confessed her feelings to him, he told her that he doesn't feel the same. They still remained friends. Later Astrid found out that she more felt admiration than love towards him.
