A generally reserved, soft-spoken, and deadpan young man, he doesn't sugar-coat things often, tends to approach things bluntly, and loves to spend time riding his motorbike around to help de-stress.
Throughout his life he usually kept to himself due to not being able to be fully comfortable around strangers, when he is comfortable with someone his demeanor doesn't change too much usually but he does open up quite a bit and lets himself be more relaxed and content with himself. He also holds a deep sense of regret and guilt from his past mistakes in his youth and holds the idea to himself that he must make it better and needs to do more than enough to make it right in his eyes, leading to being self-depreciation at times.
Despite his gloomy nature towards himself he cares very deeply about people close in his life and wont hesitate to try to make them happy, and when hes truly in a good state of mind, he can be witty and very passionate and even goof off.
BACKSTORY
Born in 1907 New York to his American father and Scottish mother, he was an only child and his father would be cruel and authoritative to both him and his mother growing up, while his mother was well meaning, didn't do enough to help her son through it all.
Growing up he was a lonely kid for a while, not really knowing how to properly make friends at school (no thanks to his dad) and didn't make his first proper friend until belle met him when they were around 10, striking an instant friendship and eventually dating when they were around 14. Unfortunately the feelings were one-sided and Jeremy only agreed to date to try to keep belle happy, that plan backfiring horribly when the truth was revealed when they were around 16-17, leading to a series of events causing a scar on his face and his father sending him off across the country for a different school in California shortly after the breakup and before they could talk. During that period he was even more reserved and constantly felt horrible for how he left things, leading to suffering mentally. Eventually he got out of school and took off on his bike back to NY in hopes to right the wrongs.
He currently works at an auto shop a relative of his owns and spends his time trying to heal and to find the people he unintentionally hurt to reconnect and properly talk.
