creature from the neighbouring 3*10^30HZwavelength. has descended into ours, the 3*10^2HZ in search of the lost soul of it's partner. has assimilated the form of a naval nurse she saw preforming an emergency operation out in the open grounds of the navy base. (this was the first thing she saw when coming into our dimension, thought it was normal). proceeds to somehow escape the naval base without anyone noticing and getting gunned down. (she just like, comically manages to sneak out evebn though she's a 10ft lumbering tendril sack in a dress, she's not magic or anything). she hangs about the town especially at night when she know's she can search for her lost soul with most ease without getting disturbed by the locals.

it's not long before she's spotted by egret who's awake pretty much all of the time, and has a view from the top of the lighthouse and literally controls a giant spotlight.

the stallion also sees pretty much everything since he's nocturnal.

sadie also catches on soon enough as she spends a lot of her free time standing alone in fields. and she's strangely drawn to this creature.... they keep seeing eachother and their encounters get more and more frequent.

she's actually called Novogyn (pronounced no-voe-jin), needlegirl had been a placeholder name that stuck for many years. people who don't know her refer to her as "The Needle Girl" but Novogyn pointed to the brand of first aid kit called Novo ( of which she initially saw the naval doctor using) and irvine/guy/sadie/carrie/eddie who are close with her start calling her Novogyn.
