[E] Zuriel

A passionate follower of the sun-mother Hylcinth, Zuriel has spent most of his life in service to the goddess as one of her holy warriors.  Traveling the countryside, aiding those in need, fighting against the forces of corruption and cruelty...Zuriel is a man of many adventures and many tales.  At some point in his journeys he lost his arm, and now uses a prosthetic that is essentially powered with his faith and light magic...creating a gauntlet that he can shape into various weapons or shields if need arises.  At another point, he fell in love with a lady and put down his wandering ways to raise their daughter after his wife passed away.

At this time Zuriel would be considered half-retired, though still willing and able to pick up the shield if the need arose.  He spends most of his days training the next generation of paladins...choosing to take on a mentor's role over a fully active one.  He also spends a bit of time puttering in his garden, something he considers a perk of no longer travelling or trying to keep a rambunctious girl from trying to eat the starfruit tree saplings.  

As a paladin of Hylcinth, Zuriel has opted to take two vows:  The vow of Honesty and the vow of Mercy.
