Maylee is a woman who is very angry with the likes of Professor Herman, and Filia. As we might remember, Filia is the person with the power to pull herself apart from anywhere on her body. Now this happened when Herman concocted... basically a blender/chemical combo, which mashed the girl into pieces, but the chemicals used kept her alive and well, lotta super science. Now the unfortunate thing about experiments like that is, well, they usually don't work the first time. Maylee was the first volunteer to take part in this procedure. Herman gave her multiple warnings and whatnot, and even right before activating the machine asked to reconsider it, but Maylee wasn't having it. See, Maylee unfortunately was very very sick, her body was, for the lack of better term, falling apart on her, she was developing tumours all over her body, and she was quickly on her last legs, so in her mind, it was either die faster, or be cured, neither outcome was super bad to her in her mindset. Well, she took part i nthe experiment, lo and behold, she could pull her body apart, and just, get rid of what she didn't want, she could just, pull out the tumours, by her own hands with no risk of death, she was cured.
Except. She couldn't stay together, at any moments notice her body could just, collapse, her face could fall off, her arms dropped off her in chunks, it was awful. After a couple days of just hoping it was a temporary side effect, she rushed to the lab of Herman. Now, the thing about Herman's lab, is that it was made in an abandoned hyrdoelectricity plant. with a dam and all that... and a lot of that floor is grating. Upon storming into the lab, one wrong stomp and she fell apart through the grating, sucked into the turbines and scattered all over, 100% conscious. Months upon months it took for her cells to find each other, to put herself together, she didn't know where she was when MOST of her body crawled out the river, she was missing chunks of body, and she was cold. Everyone ran from her, she was completely alone and traumatised, all she could think about when pulling herself together was if Herman would ever find her, and noone came, she had to do it herself. The worst thing was, weeks later, she steals a newspaper that was discarded and she reads the headline "Crackpot Professor, Herman [iforgothissurname] creates monstrosity Fallsapart Filia!" She read through the article, she found out not only had Herman never come to get her, or even, acknowledge her vanishing, he went off and did the experiment AGAIN, and it's been credited as the first attempt. And not only that, it worked, she could just, LIVE, full control over her body. This wasn't fair, she did nothing wrong, why was she treated this way in life? And that's just kinda when she had enough, if SHE can't have a nice life, neither could Filia, or Herman, or ANY other person who came to him for his "wacky" cures, they all deserve death! Or worse!
