Verbatim is a friendly, but overall anxious, Insecticon. He takes the form of a spider in his alt, although his root mode is much less spider-like than airachnid's is. (although he does find the extra limbs useful.)
Hes much more humane than the other insecticons, although he generally follows the same ideas, he dislikes the idea of murdering and/or cannibalism as a whole. Hes often grossed out by his counterparts, and in particular has a rocky relationship with waspinator. while Verbatim is much calmer about this fallout, he does get stressed whenever waspinator is around. although after being captured, and dropped on earth, they havent interacted.
Trivia
- Verbatim is in a relationship with Chopshop. Dont ask how. he doesnt know.
- He was freed by Thunderhoof accidentally, and then just kind of made into an unofficial member of Steeljaws pack.
- He isnt canon to the same AU my other characters are !!
- While he has met blackarachnia, he hasnt met Airachnid.
- Verbatims name comes from the Mothermother song, the word isnt related to his character at all.
Features
Venom — Verbatim has an extreme acid-like venom that he (essentially) spits up anytime he feels threatened, which is commonly.
Claws — On each of Verbatims hands, his fingers round into EXTREMELY sharp claws, although over time they've dulled quite a bit, theyre still sharp enough to be considered weapons on their own.
Infrared Vision — If all else fails, Verbatim relies on Infrared to get around, and to avoid running into any random Autobots on his morning walk. This comes from his extra pair of eyes (specifically the bottom set), which he oftens gets distracted by.

- four arms instead of six....he lost his other limbs in the war /j
- his eyes are BRIGHT pink, sometimes they glow in the dark.
- he has bright pink gems hanging from his shoulders and helm, which are also sometimes seen glowing.
ChopShop
Dating
Verbatim met Chopshop after 'joining' Steeljaws pack, and hes still not totally sure when they started dating. he only really found out when being introduced as ChopShop's boyfriend to Fracture and Saberhorn.
Steeljaw

While Verbatim doesnt exactly work for steeljaw, as an insecticon hes extremely loyal, so he might as well. he essentially sees Steeljaw as a 'queen' of sorts (much like the other insecticons view shockwave.)
Waspinator
Enemies
Because of Waspinators extremeism (and cannibalistic tendiences) verbatim doesnt get along easily with him. They actively hate eachother, actually.
