Rhea is a girl shrouded in mystery hidden by a cheerful outlook and unsuspecting naivety. She has no answers for where she's from or how she came to be but everything about her is strange and uncultured. She has no home, no money, no memory but remains a kind, friendly person, extremely overjoyed to just be alive.
Her story begins after the Crusaders meet Polnareff in Hong Kong. Whilst still in the city, Joseph alone, encounters an enemy stand user and finds himself in trouble. Rhea, homeless and living on the streets of Hong Kong, comes to his rescue and he learns she is also a Stand User, similar to him with no Stand form. He finds out quickly her situation and is very empathetic and offers to take her along and the two form a fun, daughter/father-like relationship. By the end of Part 3 he takes her back with him to New York and enrolls her into a basics school - to learn how to read and write.

Her Stand is similar to Joseph's and has no form but appears in a crystalized structure of any object Rhea has experienced, provided it has some sort of emotional connection/memory attached to the original. When she touches an object, her stand shows her deep emotions tied to it and if the emotion agrees with her, she can recreate it. However, these memories can impact her personality so she doesn't often try to obtain new objects.
Rhea is a trained in stealth and her body is a weapon. Before the story begins, she was underweight but has begun to gain muscle and weight in her teens. As she ages she keeps a similar frame with some weight gain.
Backstory
Rhea was one of many "stolen children" from a family and culture she has zero memory of. At an extremely young age she was brought to a secret institute where she grew up, unloved and uncultured, and was trained as a child solider. She was unnamed and spent most of her time alone, creating a very void, and unhappy personality.
Rhea met many children like her, some kind, most cruel. She formed a bond with another young girl, who was one of the skinniest and most vulnerable of the group, and they treated each other as sisters. The two were inseparable but also became targets amongst bullies. Regardless of this, Rhea never left her new sister alone and always protected her.
The first attempt to escape came with gruesome consequences and Rhea lost her only friend. In the weeks following between her isolation and increasing bullying from other children, her Stand awakened and she successfully escaped the facility. When she left however she had no social skills, no culture or any idea on how to read so she lived on the streets of cities as she tried to discover her new place in the world.

Father/Daughter-like
Having similar no-form Stands, Joseph having a weakness for unfortunate girls and Rhea never having a father figure, the two bonded quickly. Joseph knew the Crusaders didn't necessarily need another member to their group but pitched Rhea as a useful ally who can lighten their backpacks and hold her own. He was correct and she quickly assimilated with the team and made the group feel more like a family.

Unexpected friendship
Jotaro being the grumpiest to accept a new member of the team, reluctantly accepted Rhea in. The two had little in common and Jotaro was quite quiet so it was difficult to earn respect. The team quickly learned on the sinking Cargo ship that Rhea couldn't swim which further annoyed Jotaro. With many future enemy Stand encounters, learning how to swim and overall positive attitude, Jotaro slowly accepted her and came to rely on Rhea.

Polnareff was immediately ecstatic to not be the last one joining the team and to also have a female companion on the otherwise very-male team. He immediately starts flirting with Rhea who doesn't read any of his advances as romantic. He learns quickly she is gullible and often teases her for it. Their relationship turns more sibling like at this point and he often worries for her.
