Vlade was helping out at a digsite in Egypt. The sands had shifted after a bad storm so there were new things uncovered. It was the end of the day and everyone was heading back for food, but he stayed behind to collect some of the tools that had been forgotten, as per usual. He wandered over to the rockface of a small cliff nearby and found that the sand had shifted enough to uncover a small, rectangular gap in the rock. He didn't want to wait until tomorrow because for sure it could be covered again by then, so he went in alone.

Inside he found a temple to Horus. Paintings on the walls, a statue, other things. It was quite big and he took his time looking around. When he went back to the entrance, though, he discovered the sand had covered it again and was quite deep.

Now starting to panic, he went back to the temple room and looked for another way out, but couldn't find one. He sat down on the steps, cursing himslef, when a voice spoke to him. It asked him, or more tells him, that he needs to get out, and that it could help them if he agreed to become it's Avatar. After a bit of back and forth, he accepted.

Now Horus's Avatar, he literally blasted the sand out of the entrance. He said nothing of this when he got back to camp.
