Fadedember [ NPC ]

Fadedkit was initally born with little chances of living, not very strong or loud at all. This led her mother to be incredibly overbearing of the little kit throughout her life. From a young age, Faded has always separated themselves from other cats but that was to be expected. She comes from a very reserved family that have been looked down upon for their lack of belief in Starclan. Though the young cat didn't pay much attention to it once she became an apprentice.

Fadedpaw quickly became friends with Deerpaw after showing some resisitance to her family members. Though mysteriously, Fadedpaw's relatives would vanish seemingly overnight. Nobody would have a clue nor speak on them, perhaps something of Starclan's doing. Fadedpaw would refuse to acknowledge Starclan's exisitance, though her pent up frustration would be taken out on Molepaw. Her friendship with Deerpaw carried her through her apprenticeship, relying on it more than not. It would not be till around their warrior assessment that they would finally branch out to become casual friends with a couple cats.

As a young warrior, Fadedember would be acknowledged for her warm heart, some cats that had previously viewed her heritage poorly offering to make amends. Fadedember went with the flow of her life, not dwelling on anything for too long. They simply would rather focus on each day at a time than let a problem get under her skin. Well.. A long term problem that is. Faded was quite childish still, complaining about trivial things and finding it hard to get going in the morning.

That would change with the mentorship of her first apprentice, Rockpaw. At first, most training days were lax and not filled with much effort to start refining the skills of a warrior. However, after their apprentice was subjected to discovering the late-lead hunter's body, Fadedember made an active change to better themselves for their apprentice. While her lazy tendancies didn't completely absolve themselves, it was noticed by her peers of an increased care about clan life that hadn't been occured before.

Once Rockpaw earned her name, Rockskip, Fadedember felt a sense of achievement that she hadn't ever before. Their somewhat catty gossip sessions with their best friend Deerthorn had subsided in favor of more lighthearted conversations with Cherryspeckle and Frogwatcher. But a feeling was brooding inside her, that being how now she believed she owed Molechirp an apology for the behavior as apprentices. It's locked away for now, but may come out sooner or later...
