Kira has quite the interesting character. Whether this is because of the two inkyuus, or simply because he is like this, he seems to be very lively and content with his life. He often knows precisely what he wants, and what he is specifically looking for. Kira will use as many methods as he wants to get what he wants.
On the other side, he has a habit of ignoring the possible needs others might have as a result to focusing on his goals. Kira usually says what's on his mind, thus not really having any sensitivity to situatons. Nevertheless, that doesn't mean Kira won't ever help.

Kira was just a simple human living his life. Often surfing in his free time and running his ice cream shop. He was well liked with the community his lived in. Living right by a beach has it's own benefits, but it also has it's own downsides. Nevertheless, it was peaceful and enjoyable... that is, until one day.
Inkyuu Possession
It was almost like it was random. Kira was surfing one day, but noticed something strange when he got back to shore. He saw some strange colored stains on the sand, but didn't pay much attention to it. Little did he know, those stains were belonging to possibly some new future friends.
The two Inkyuu, Kelp and Sun had killed each of their previous hosts, and decided to group up. They ended up possessing Kira while he was working, and he only started noticing the effects after it was too late. Although, it didn't bother him all that much, as it seemed the two decided to actually be friends with him. This resulted in a somewhat symbiotic relationship, with Kira having to accommodate his life style for the two new friends.
Meanwhile, while relationships with those around him changed significantly, he didn't seemed all that bothered by it. At least he wasn't alone entirely, right?
