Cheerful and light-hearted, Callie often tried not to dwell on hardships too often, remaining optimistic and exciteable, hopping from one thing to the next. She always seemed to shrug everything off with a carefreeness that only she possessed, not being afraid to make mistakes and bounce back. This makes her typically incredibly fun to be around, as she is willing to put all problems aside and just hang out. However, her commitment issues and immense refusal to approach difficult conversations can lead to some to dislike having her in group projects - which, of course, breeds even more difficult conversations in the long run.
If there's one way to describe Callie, it's a lovebird. Love for her world around her, love for her family and friends, but most of all, strangely falling in love way too fast for her own good. She often finds herself daydreaming about it, becoming so preoccupied with it, finding herself unhappy if not in the thrill of love. Though she may not realise it now, the main reason she can't hold down a relationship is her own fear of the gravity of what a relationship entails - constant communication and vulnerability, strength and sacrifice. So whilst she'll often tell herself she never needed one, perhaps it's more complex than that.
Kayan is serious and attuned to his environment, and forces Callie to slow down and look into herself and lose herself in her environment and attune herself to her world and her feelings. He likes to sit and listen to her chatter away, and they like to share wired earphones, sinking into the forest. Kayan admires Callie's quick thinking and ability to always come up with something to say, and she admires his attention to detail and quiet stoicism.
Nashi and Callie have run into each other at the gym often enough that they've become friends despite sharing no classes in common. Both love a good light-hearted competition (though Nashi usually wins, but Callie doesn't really care who wins as it's the thrill that's important). Both love just taking time away and goofing around, enjoying living while they're young, driving on Nashi's motorcycle, wind in their hair, laughing like life has no meaning and nothing really matters, anyways.
As Mychau deems Callie to have one of the best fashion senses around, he often asks her for advice and they both love to go out on shopping trips together. Mychau keeps wanting to pay for Callie which makes her feel a little bad but begrudgingly lets her do it anyway. Good for a good time, but both are terrible with life advice.
As both are members of the cheerleading team, they spend a lot of time together, and as the two most socially butterfly members of course they'd get along. Both have the tendency to start "after you" "no after you" chains that will last until the dawn of time. Yuka helps Callie work through her feelings and Callie says "excuse me he asked for no pickles" when Yuka doesn't want to butt in.
