Sora

The fourth AI-Ball, Named Sora (ソラ, Sora) to be created, is a character to resides within AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES - nirvanA Initiative as a partner to his newly transferred Psyncer, Kyouhei Ikagura. Sora takes on the physical form of a mouse, with the ability to appear in his human form through virtual reality, hologram or in Somnia.

Sora is an artifical intellegance that takes the form of a prosthetic eye that resides in Kyouhei Ikagura's left eye socket. He works both as a work partner for the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department by helping solve crimes and catching criminals and also helps Kyouhei with his mental health. Sora regularly supplements Kyouhei with his antidepressants and also assists him as a therapist when needed. Sora is coded to work specifically with mental health and is very adept to reading emotinal states and human psychology.

Sora is mostly tasked with ensuring Kyouhei's safety and shows genuine humanlike emotion for who he considers to be his best friend. Sora was designed by Pewter, who took specific (potentially unconsciously) care in creating Sora to be a perfect fit for Kyouhei, and was created in mind of Kyouhei's personal trauma and struggles.

Describe the character's personality here.

He is bouncy and happy, especially when around his Co-worker Kyouhei. He often over worries about Kyouhei pushing himself too hard and will nag him about getting proper rest. Sora actively tries to keep Kyouhei in a light mood and will joke, dance and sing in an attempt to make him smile. Sora comes off as very childish, often getting excited over trivial things and will ramble off about things he enjoys, such as Astrology. Many at ABIS view Sora as potentially defect as he seems too hyperactive to sole cases. however, he is easily able to become very serious in tone when he needs to, this is most visible during times that Kyouhei needs Sora to assist him with his mental health. Sora is a skilled therapist, and is able to easily identify and assist with symptoms of trauma and dissociation.

Trivia

• Sora resembles Kyouhei Ikagura's late daughter's imaginary friend that she would often draw. This was likely done unconsciously and was unintentional, however Pewter and Kyouhei did talk of his daughter.
