introduction.

everest is the second oc i ever made, they've gone through significant development in both personality and design, originally being an umbreon recolour. now they exist in my general ocs universe, with ivory being a sister to him. he works at a games store as a cashier, and codes his own indie games in his free time

everest is a fairly easy person to get along with, they can initially be a bit closed off, but quickly become comfortable with people and fit into most social situations. he's very energetic and can easily get overexcited and carried away with his ideas. he can go through phases of being more irritable and distant from people when things get stressful. them and ivory balance each other out, because ivory grounds everest, but everest pushes her to enjoy things, which is why they see each other more like close family than friends

• they grew up in a fairly strict household and moved out when they turned 18
  • their family wasn't exactly terrible but their father was absent and refused to accept them (they often had very aggressive arguments about this) and their mum was usually busy with work
• ivory took them in because they were basically homeless at the time and she didn't want to see a queer kid suffer
  • they quickly became very close and a sort of found family
• everest started his job at a games shop as a cashier, he loves it because he gets to talk about his favourite things all day
  • after a while of working there, they started to pick up coding and started to make small indie games in their free time
• stella and talita end up staying at their house for a few weeks because they couldn't afford rent anymore but they end up staying
  • happy found family shenanigans :) i don't have anything set in stone for them

design notes.

• they have hooded eyelids, dark circles and freckles
• body type is fat (stockier build as well)
• he has top surgery scars
• their hair is shaved on the left side
• he has lots of piercings (double helix on his left ear, both lobes, right industrial, septum, angel bites, tongue) and likes to wear lots of rings and necklaces
  • they also wear sunglasses almost all the time to help with their light sensitivity, and sometimes use crutches during me/cfs flareups
• he can wear anything that's alternative or punk style fashion, or just comfy hoodies etc
