Katanas

Asuka wields two katanas, one for each hand. Although somewhat short in lenght, they're quite sturdy and sharp.

These trusty throwing stars can be pretty handy for taking out some foes from a distance.

These arts are powerful techniques that give various attacks or effects:

Inferno

Asuka summons flame pillars that surrounds her, damaging nearby foes.

Gale

Asuka summons a wind barrier that protects her for a bit.

Substitution

Asuka summons a clone of herself that's dimmer in the colors and is intangible. Although this doesn't last long.

Village under attack

Asuka was about 4 years old when that horrific event happened. It was a pleseant day for her village. Sun was shining, wind was breezing and the village was full of life. It seemed that nothing could go wrong. Well... that is until one day, the village was ambushed by a clan of assassins. Despite the village's efforts, the assassins were too much to handle and they ravaged almost everything, with about 10% of the population, Asuka included, escaped from the attack. Asuka, reasonably terrified from what just happened, broke down into tears. Those assassins took everything away from her. Her home, her friends and her family. Not all hope is lost though...

Way of the Shinobi

One of the few survivors from the assassins' attack was the elder of Asuka's village. He was an experienced shinobi sensei in his prime, some even considered his as a legend. Despite his old age, he is still a force to be reckoned with. He decided to train the rest of the survivors, including Asuka, to become shinobi so that they'll be prepared for whenever they encounter the assassins again in the future. For years, Asuka went through rigorous training ranging from hand to hand combat to various techniques to swordfighting with katanas. When Asuka turned 12, the elder grew weak, knowing that his time has come. Before he passed on, he gave Asuka his blue scarf, as a gift. Asuka, now 16 years old, holds the scarf her sensei gave her tightly, knowing that she has what it takes to defeat the assassins.

A few months passed by after the passing of her sensei, Asuka was trekking through the forests of Mystic Ruins.
