Maeva

Grumpy. Very.

Mostly a loner. 

Lives in a cabin with Gio in the woods close to the capital city of Againe's world.

She found Gio while taking a stroll. Back then he was a small child abandoned by his biological mother. Maeva took pity of him and brought him home.

She told Gio he could stay until she found him someone willing to make him their familiar and take proper care of him, but no longer than that.
No more than that, she said.
Not even a day beyond that point, she said.
Don't get too confortable, you'll be gone soon, she said.
I will not be your guardian, she said.
It's been +200 years. They're still together. 

She loves Gio with all her heart, the love a mother'd have for her child, yet she ever refers to him as her son. He's not her familiar either. 

She cannot understand how the unicorn can keep acting like a 5 years old, yet she's the only one that has been spoling him for the last couple centuries.

She makes some money by making the locals potions, giving them advice, helping in researchs, etc; but she also gets most of her resources from the forest. 

Nobody knows her ascendance or what her actual powers are, neither how old she actually is. 

Since she dresses very similarly to witches in training and doesn't live the witches world, there's an ongoing rumor that she's failed or ditched school and thus never learned magic properly/is very weak.

She's somehow friends/acquaintances with some elder and powerful witches, but barely any people knows about this.
