Story
Background
As a culture, the core virtures of Pinnian philosophy are benevolence, gratitude, and hospitality. Their creation myths and history stress the importance of being a good neighbor, to the countries and people around as well as the environment itself. No one can exist on their own, community is what makes us flurish. The Goddess Soimyrl, the first of the Pinnians to travel outside of the caves, is the strongest represention of this ideal.
All children of Pinnian noble families are raised with the expectation that they, at any point, could be choosen to continue the legacy of the sacred Sturdy Goddess, Soimyrl. To be the Choosen of Soimyrl means to serve as a sacred diplomat; traveling to various outside lands to make and strengthen allyships. It is a life long position and many years can pass before a new diplomat is choosen when one is lost.
It has been some 50 years since a new diplomat has been apointed by means of the yearly ritual.
Many would agree that the Puerti family had many children with good potential. Lemmeran wasn't exactly the one most bet their money on, though. And honestly? Lemmy didn't see it coming either... but so be Soimyrl's will! Lemmeran may have been considered the family goof, but they are dedicated to their country just as any proud Pinnean should be and they are eager to prove it! Also getting to travel and meet (and possibly help) a bunch of new people also sounds like fun. But before all that, they have to go through a lot of boring training so they don't mess everything up the moment they step outside.

While touring the primary allied nations, Lemmeran hears more and more about the headliner of the desert: Juncuda, a large city at the forefront of technology that is currently fighting for independence from the oppresive Rens Empire.
