TBN is a scientist, but more importantly one who focuses on chemistry and botany. His life's work alway involved around the flora of Daymask forest, since he grew up in the area. His research later on in life included studies on toxic gases some plants can produce, originally using mushrooms to combat the effects of said noxious outbreaks. He never had much of a family, being cut off from the remaining living ones for better or for worse. He eventually came to adopt a mute dragonet who lost their last family member just a day before. The young rotwing became interested in his work, becoming an assistant of sorts while learning much about what TBN focused his life on.

However, one fateful day in the lab led the dragonet to become seriously injured, and without a way to speak to defend himself, the townsfolk had condemned TBN to imprisonment. His lab was burned, and the young dragon was released with no one to look after them, and not a clue on where his mentor had been taken. Bitter about circumstances and deciding to use the local fungi, TBN managed to escape the prison he was in. His goal was to seek out all who caused this suffering in his life, as well as reunite with an old friend.

He recovered some things from his lab, such as a fashionabe gas mask and things you'd see on a classic vigilante, like an assortment of knives and satchels. The mushrooms growing on his body are a side effect of how he escaped his prison, and now grow on him naturally. He uses a variety of homemade poisons, gas bombs, and blow darts as weapons.
