Unlike his brother, Barron, Merric is not a demon; but he is, in fact, relatively like one in that he tries to weigh the pros and cons of every scenario to see how he can benefit from it. That being said, he has a much quieter and simpler heart than his brother does. He likes his routines and his plans; he keeps up with them as best as he can, careful to have everything meticulously organized so that he can later refer to it. He likes being able to observe, rather than take part in things, because he feels his time is better served taking notes rather than being in the thick of things.
Merric finds great pleasure in solitude; where Barron is gregarious without having too many close friends, Merric is the type to keep to himself and only have one or two friends but be very satisfied with those friends. He cares more deeply for things and for people than he likes to let on, but he is wary of forming deep connections because he doesn't undestand them.
