Nadya has a rebellious soul. She doesn't like most nomadic behaviour and would like to make a revolution. Even though she knows she can't do anything on her own. From the very beginning of her stay at the temple, she was considered different. Because of this, she has hardly ever been able to get along with her peers, despite her best efforts.
The girl is stubborn and fiercely pursues her goal. However, she can sometimes be short-sighted, does not try to foresee her own actions and acts under the influence of emotions. Stubbornness is both a disadvantage and an advantage.
Nadya has the soul of an artist. She is very creative and imaginative. She has improved her kite herself. She has decorated her room, her buffalo saddle, even the kite itself.
Nadya is more impetuous than the rest of the nomads. She is bored with peace and harmony. She craves excitement, something real. The nomads are too settled for her. She herself sometimes explodes, unable to control her emotions.

Nadya is a very good air bender. Although her technique is more elemental and fiery. Nevertheless, she is at a high level of knowledge of air bending. The girl is looking for new ways to weave air bending. Her biggest dream is to learn how to fly.
Nadya has a talent for art. She loves to paint and create. On her own, she likes to hole up somewhere and create in peace. - Backstory
Nadya was born as the only daughter of the exiled air bender Dedoru and the beautiful fire bender Ayan. Her father showed her the beauty of the air culture and her mother the charms of the fire nation. The girl grew up in a truly colourful family. Her father taught her the old, forgotten dances of the air.
But everything changed when Nadya's mother was murdered. It was done by the benders of the earth. It happened when the girl was only six years old. Her father failed to come to her aid and found his daughter with her mother dead.
After this, Dedoru concluded that Nadya would not be safe with him. He returned her to the western air temple, before meeting her brother after nine years. He told him to take care of her. After that, he left, leaving Nadya behind.
The girl found it hard to adjust to her new reality. It is true that the wound from the loss of her mother healed after some time, but the problem here was Nadya's old habits. The girl was not used to nomadic life and had to completely change her previous plans.
For years, Nadya grew up in the temple with the hope that her father would come back for her one day, but hearing from him was lost. Eventually, she also slowly forgot about him and dealt with what she had now. Her sadness and wounds were healed by being handed a flying bison, which she named Toto. The two of them caught a great rapport. For Nadya, it was friendship at first sight.
The bison also really became her only friend. It was hard for her to get along with her peers, as they had only experienced life at the temple. Nadya stood out and because of this she could not find someone who understood her. She spent most of her free time indulging in art. She managed to improve her kite with new features. She also painted. Apart from that, she practised air bending very effectively. And she was doing very well, even though her weaving technique was different from the rest.
Nadya was noticed by the monks. Her talent led to her getting her tattoos at the age of 13. The monks were fascinated by the innovation, but they didn't like the girl's growing rebellious attitude too much. She reminded them too much of her father in this aspect.
In the meantime, she also met a lemur who became her next friend. She called her Beu. Now there were three of them.
Nadya never left the temple for a far distance. Her uncle told her that the world was too dangerous. With him she had a very good relationship. He treated her like his own daughter. He gave her support and understanding.
- Zuhan
Zuhan was like a father to Nadya. He looked after her, supported her and wanted the best for her. The monks treated Nadya like an outcast at first, but after seeing the love Zuhan had for her, they changed their minds and began to treat her like a true resident of the temple.
Nadya reminded him very much of his brother, whom he missed dearly. The girl allowed him to understand what drove Dedoru. They were very similar in character. Nadya showed him what he himself could not see. This made him miss his brother even more and he regretted not keeping him when he could.
Nadya and Zuhan would often sneak off to the Old Temple to take a break from the frolicking monks. There they relax and Zuhan tells her about the old stories, teaches her bending and they just have a nice time.
Zuhan is one of the few people who understand Nadya and her different character from the rest.
Nadya greatly respects Zuhan for teaching her so much. They practically never argue. -
- Nika
Nika was the first person to join Nadya on the journey. The girl was impressed that she was so strong and did not let herself be pushed around.
However, sometimes Nika's toughness gets in the way in various ways. Nika has a tough character and you just have to get used to it. But the girl is a very good friend and a strong personality, which is needed in a group. When it comes to plans and strategy, she is the first to report. Likewise, if you need to scare someone.
Nadya considers Nika a friend, even though the girl is not always well-behaved. Nadya, however, tries to be understanding and show her that there is another, better world beyond life as the chief's daughter -
