Profile
Despite their whimsical and familiar nature, little is known about the Ringleader's personal life, up to (and including) their real name. Whether this is to draw attention to (or avoid drawing attention from) the Cirque is up for debate. All that can be said for certain is that, when one sees the flicker of will-o'-the-wisps lighting a nearby path, the Ringleader likely isn't far behind.
Knowledge of the Ringleader's past is known only to a select few.
Once an unhappy child, they were led away at a young age by the will-o'-the-wisps they'd always been able to see. They followed the path the wisps lit: out of one life and into another. They came to wander, confident that they had been chosen to do so -- though for what purpose, they couldn't be sure.
When the question proved too gnawing to bear, the wisps led them out to the ocean... and deeper down. It became clear to them eventually that they were being guided -- and chosen to guide, perhaps all those who found themselves lost as they had been -- by another Star, both much like and much different from that in Caer Sidi. A Star deep in the depths of the Bermuda Triangle.

- The Cirque travels by unrailed train.
- They enjoy learning the skills of other Cirque members. They're no match for anyone else's expertise, however.
- If you were to ask them their favorite Cirque member, they'll happily tell you -- and quite matter-of-factly! But be prepared for a different answer from moment to moment, if there's any truth to it at all.
- They've been able to see the will-o'-the-wisps their whole life.
- While their real name is Aodhán, very few people know this. In endeavors wherein they must give a "real" name, they typically use the pseudonym Sybil.
A partner in every sense, with a Cor and insert hand-picked by the Ringleader themself. A Llawes employee freed from their corporate fetters some time ago. They travel with the Cirque as consultant and member beloved, trailing flowers and paperwork in their wake.
Another who has been able to hear a Star -- albeit not the same one -- as long as it can remember. For reasons the Ringleader cannot quite understand, it seems somewhat guarded about their similarities, or indeed the existence of another Star altogether.
