TALENT;
- Konami was trained in survivalism alongside his older sister, Sadana--the Ultimate Huntswoman. His talent branched off from hers because he disliked the idea of harming animals in pursuit of a talent--or really at all--and was subject to less pressure than his elder sister on that front.
PERSONAL LIFE;
- Konami grew up the only son of a rich family, though not the heir--that privilege belongs to the second-oldest daughter, Sadana.
- Konami's parents are part of a weird fucking rich people cult. They also stage the murders of their own family members to get compensation for it.
- As such, you can imagine the kind of pressure this guy is under. His brain is full of so much all the time.
IMPORTANT PEOPLE;
- Izumi and Atagi Matsurino: His parents. He wants them dead in all universes!
- Yayoi, Sadana, Eori, Puyumi, and Abeni Matsurino: His five sisters. He cares about them all, though he's particularly close to Abeni.
- Alder: That's his bestie motherfucker!
in-game;
- Konami was the mastermind of Miryu's Round 2 Redux, working behind the scenes with Alder as the traitor to ensure what was supposed to be an evaluation of worthiness turned into a scandal in the name of his parents.
- In R2Dux lore, Izumi and Atagi Matsurino were the ministers of a cult-run city in the sky--Ataraxia--that provided a disgusting amount of waste that greatly corrupted the land beneath it. The killing game was initially meant to be an evaluation of which Ultimates were worhy enough to "ascend" into becoming denizens of the city, but Konami wanted to make a difference when he was put in charge of overseeing the test. He altered the rules and parts of the setting to accommodate a killing game instead, aiming to create a tragedy that would destroy his parents' and Ataraxia's reputation enough to expose its dark side.
- One of the participants of the evaluation (Tamika Kuromiya) set off explosives at the site of the killing game, causing a power blip on Ataraxia and alerting its ministers to activity near the supercomputer that held the city up in the sky. As such, Konami's parents began to observe the killing game through the eyes of its robotic overseer, Monokirin. Konami picked up on the shift, deciding that he couldn't allow Ataraxia the chance to cover up any scandal. Taking inspiration from Tamika, he set up his own explosives around the Ataraxia supercomputer and allowed the participants of the evaluation to see for themselves the horror of just how much waste the city was producing back on the ground.
- At the end of the KG, Monokirin called a trial to expose Konami as its proctor, resulting in his execution at the hands of his own parents. At the end of his execution, however, Konami managed to set off the explosives he had planted at the supercomputer, forcibly fulfilling his self-imposed duty and bringing Ataraxia down from the sky in his very final moments.
