A very anxious and insecure person who second guesses nearly everything.
He's had a bit of a rough start to life with a lot of childhood issues to overcome. Most of his self confidence disappeared from consistent bullying throughout his early school years until he switched to a new school system freshman year of high school. He's generally a very quiet, shy person who keeps to himself because anxiety. Its really easy to make him upset and cry but its also easy to cheer him up and make him laugh. He's a super open book, just one look and its obvious what emotion he's feeling. He loves all his friends with a passion and would die for them, especially James. Thanks to them he's slowly building up his confidence and crawling out of his shell into the social world. He's actually really witty like his dad but not many hear his snarky little comments because he's so quiet.
One day in the distant future he finds out ragdoll cats are hypoallergenic and that's a thing that exists. So this allergic boy gets a ragdoll named Bonnie and loves her very much. Can finally pet his favorite animal without getting unbearably itchy. Did his parents hide the fact hypoallergenic cats were a thing because they didn't want one? Probably!

James
[ boyfriend/husband ] The love of his life even though this guy says a lot of cursed things that make Gavyn want to both punt him and kiss him at the same time. Both these boys thrive on physical attention so they're always cuddling, sprawled on the other's lap, or anything that involves touching. Gavyn's first day freshman year at his new high school began with James. His locker was right next to Gav's so he chatted Gav up, called him adorable and asked him out all within 5 minutes. Gav was overwhelmed and flustered because someone he just met thinks hes cute, that never happened before. He never gave an answer but his childhood friends appeared and butted in so it was overlooked at the time. James made the strongest first impression ever and that eventually led to them dating about a year later. He didn't really consider dating guys before meeting James but could never get that guy out of his head, especially after they became actual friends.
Liam
[ father ] Sometimes he wishes he grew tall like his dad but then he witnesses him knock himself out on a doorframe and is VERY glad that's not him. He still gets treated like a small child half the time but he's also forever child sized to Liam so that'll never change. Gav doesn't mind it too much, all the attention and affection is nice. He's the only biological child Liam has so he's got plenty of affection to give his precious child. Liam and Vikki gave Gav the nickname 'little bear' when he was tiny and it stuck forever. Every christmas they get him a new teddy bear to his giant collection of stuffed animals. They enable this army of beady little eyes.
