- Each clan has a unique language to it that only they can understand. To speak or teach a Serpentes outside of the clan this language is forbidden.
- If you ever attempt to teach another creature a clan language that is not within that clan then it is almost certain that a Serpentes from that clan will punish you. If you are lucky you may even survive the punishment.
- Each clan also has a symbol that they rally under. They will often put these symbols on clothing or weapons to proudly show others what clan they are from.
- It is also not terribly uncommon for those in a clan to wear the clan's symboles color on a majority of their clothing. In fact when gathering for public meetings or large galas it's practically mandatory.

The Serpents from the High Nvoem clan tend to be feared by the other two clans. It is not uncommon for Serpentes from this clan to be harsh, rude and rather stuck up. Not all of them of course, but many feel they are better and stronger than any other creature or clan. It is very common to see Serpentes from this clan hold strong positions of power and leadership often ruling others by fear.The Low Nvoem clan is full of , what most would refer to as, suck ups. Members of this clan tend to be in the middle between the High and Non trying to get the best of both worlds but if they aren't careful they will be pushed out by both. The Low tend to be good with their words but ready to run if the situation demands it. You can find members from this clan often in mid tier positions of power such as advisors, landlords or supervisors.The Non Nvoem clan is the most plentiful and most abused. Serpentes from this clan will often do manual work and prop up the other two with little in return. They are the first to flee in a fight and often would rather play dead than face their problems. Timid and shy are not uncommon characteristics of a Serpentes from the Non clan.
