She travels the Isles in following of foreign prophesies from the Kyuno.

Sakura was born as a motherless-child with her only other sibling, Dango, by her side. The two were adopted into a loving family, but the door was swung open and Sakura slipped out, in curiosity. her family chased after her, but she booked it across the street and narrowly avoided a car. Only a kitten, she returned to feed on the food her owners had left out and visit her sister. Eventually she found an opportunity to slip her out too, and the duo left in search for whatever life had to offer.
Finding themselves in a big city, they met two cats, Bluebells and Merengue, and the four bonded quick. They continued in the forest, and travelled the world together, facing problems and fighting them together.
This carried on until Sakura had a dream, a calling-card, from an unknown source. She has a such a strong desire to follow it that she dragged the rest of the group with her, and the quartet followe the river up north. She was so concerned with arriving there that Dango had deemed her mad, but they carried through anyways. She was the mother-friend of the group, the responsible cat that kept everyone in line, so the others were used to following either way.
Catching them off guard, as they woke up from staying overnight in a forest far from their home, they were in a place that Sakura had been so faithfully been calling the Isles. They went to search their surroundings, when suddenly, a cliff had been missed and Dango tumbled down. The three had done everything in their power to rescue her, but by the time they could reach her in the water below, she had passed.
The others were grieving hard, but it hit Sakura like a tidal wave. She sat grieving Dango for weeks, and Merengue and Bluebells took care of her.
Nearing two weeks, Sakura received another prophecy. It told her that she'd arrived to the Isles, and she should visit the large castle. Merengue and Bluebells had apparently visited others while she was caved away, and they decided they wanted to return home. Sakura, not paying very much attention to anything but a prophecy, wished them farewell as they left on a boat offered by a friendly stranger.
Sakura visited the castle and found Bunny, the leader of the place, who said she had received information, from the essence of the Isles (whom she calls Kyuno) who told her that he had selected a prophet. Sakura was told to follow Kyuno's instructions, and she spent the next few years fulfilling the ancient god's prophecies for the Isles, becoming in-tune with the wave lenths of the Isles core.
