Briar walks through life with her nose in a book. No matter where she goes or what she does she has at least one book on her at any given time. Owns a library card for every library in the county but too often turns her books in late. Shes a major clutz and is very forgetfull and that often gets her in sticky situations. Shes quiet and mousy, speaking up isnt her strong suit, and because of this she often just goes without expressing herself. Luckily she has friends who look out for her and love her.
Though books in gereral are the only thing she cares about she has a secret obbsession with trashy romance novels and worse, erotica books! She is a major perv and loves a good romantic trope. Has a bad habit of "shipping" her friends when shes day dreaming. Blushes easily and gets flustered over the slightest thing. Though shes obbsessed with romance and erotica with her own relationships shes all bark and no bite, if someone even tries to make a move on her it either goes right over her hear or is so blunt and straightforward that she blushes and panics.

Summary
Briar lives in a two bedroom flat with her "big bro" and book buddie Bearnard. She has dreams of owning her own bookstore/cafe called "Birds Nest Books" but the way she racks up late fees at the library who knows when that will happen. Always wears her glasses, blind as a bat without them. Always wears her identification bracelet. Her tail is super big and fluffy and uses it to keep the best sticks she finds for her reading corner nest at home. She can fly and loves too but often avoids it cause shes dropped her glasses a few two many times and trying to make a blind landing is suuuuper scary.
For work right now she tutors kids in english and volenteirs at the library. Monroe managed to get her a job serving drinks at the hotel bar at nights, shes spilt quite a few drinks but the customers think shes cute so they tend to not get too upset.

Aspen
Briar and Aspen got along as soon as they met, they both trip over the same stuff, miss the same jokes and punchlines, and cant for the life of them have a normal conversation without info dumping their interests. Briar admires Aspen alot and kind of has a little crush on them, but speaking up is so not her thing so she just quietly admires them and dreams up fanfiction between the two of them.
Bearnard
Bearnard is Briar's super soft super sweet "big bro"! They met at the bookstore and hit it off imidietly! They got along so well they decided to move in together, now their book collection is even more powerful then ever! Bearnard looks out for Briar and makes sure she doesnt loose her glasses, or walk into trafic, or forgets to eat cause shes too engrosed in a book. They never run out of stuff to talk about when it comes to books, its like having their own most private book club~!
Monroe
Monroe dotes on Briar a little too much, she kind of turns him into a nervous mom sometimes with how clumsy she is. He got her the night job at the hotel bar as a server and is always looking out for her there. Hes always getting on her about being too aloof though and has to shoot dirty looks at the bar patrons that try to get a little TOO flirty with her.
Ranger
Ranger and Briar met through Bearnard. When they reconnected Ranger started coming around more and Briar was ok with that. She hasnt quite warmed up to him yet and at times thinks hes a little annoying, but Bear loves him so shes learning to love him too.
