Aspen is probably the most down to earth person you'll meet. Litterally. They take every one and everything at face value. No judgements, no expectations. But they are very choosy about who they share their time (and campsite) with. They will go to the ends of the earth for those they're closest too, often to the point of neglecting themselves.
Aspen is just your average everyday nature nerd and camp enthusiest. They are more at home in a tent in the middle of the woods than in any city or town. They prefer the company of trees, rocks, and the local fauna to most people. Will never turn down a smores and has perfected the art of camp cooking.

Summary
When not out camping Aspen spends their time reading, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. They live in a small townhouse apt in a little nowhere town. They can drive but only owns a moped, cars are too big and too much maintinance. For work they waitstaff at a local cafe, the type with the same people in every day to have the same cup of coffee and the same $2 plate of biscuts and gravey.
Aspen has big dreams of making it as a nature photographer. Every trip they take, their camera is the first thing packed and the first thing unpacked. Snapping pictures of everything from moss on a rock to the birds perched over her tent. For now though they are happy with their simple life and the experiences they get to share with those they love.
Design
• Tree marking is on both cheeks.
• Must be drawn with eyebrows.
• Inside of mouth is a minty sage green, same as inner ears and pawpads.
• Horns are relativly small with 3 rounded prongs.
• (for NSFW) Can be drawn as male, fem, or both.
Trivia
• Will 100% bury a bigot out in the woods.
• Coffee is purely a conduit for tasty flavored creamers.
• Airheaded and clumsy but can tell you a million facts about any flaura and fauna.
• Cant swim and hates being out in open water but loves a good boat ride or kayak.
• Always smells like a blend of pine needles and campfire smoke.
• Loves scary stories but will never be able to fall asleep after hearing them.

Bearnard
Bearnard and Aspen have been friends for a long time. They frequent the same book store in town and bonded over their shared nature interests. While Bearnard is more on the timid side and cant camp without a lantern on in his tent all night, hes kind and resourful. No matter how scared he might be hell never back down from a challenge and will always jump at the chance to help someone in need. Big soft boi.
Briar
Aspen and Briar are as akward a duo as can be. Shared in clumsyness and airheaded ness they both tend to be equally lost in most social situations. Aspen has a slight crush on Briar but has no clue at all how to deal with that so they just ignore it and keep their feelings to themself. Im sure Briar wouldnt notice even if they did say something. XD
Ranger
Ranger and Aspen are...friends? I dont know...Its complicated and Aspen usually just trys to not think about it too much. They dated back in highschool but split up when Aspen was going though some identity crisis stuff. They wernt sure of their gender identity and though it was best to just cut people off while they figured it out...avoid all the akward conversations they didnt know how to have. They reconnected after graduation but things are still...weird.
Frasier
Frasier met Aspen through Ranger. They seem really quiet and hard to read but Aspen likes how then they talk about the weird random facts they know, Frasier actually seems interested. I think theyll be close friends in no time!
