Simon

Simon has a very friendly and bubbly personality. He seems to be on great terms with everyone he knows and has a fantastic sibling relationship with his two brothers and sister.

Simon lives a pretty straightforward life. He was born in a western town on the plains of a hot country, and has lived there all his life. He was raised around a hardworking family who owned a crop farm. Despite some of his family’s strict attitude, Simon grew up to be gentle and friendly, but hardworking like the rest of them.

He learned how to be good with a shotgun, and when he was older, he joined group of patrollers. His job as a patrolman was to make rounds daily to keep an eye on the areas surrounding the town and fend off any dangerous threats that could bring potential harm to their town. He would occasionally help around the farm his siblings owned, manning the wagons and delivering food for trade with neighbouring towns, or transporting other goods around the town.

On a day when Simon was out patrolling with his group, they came across a 5 year old Cervitaur running for his life from a crazed, bloodied Alphyn. Simon managed to quickly shoot the Alphyn down and rescued the boy, named Chase, but with his mother found dead and partially eaten by the Alphyn and his father's location unknown, Simon took Chase home and raised him as his own.

Simon later sustained a top half back injury from his active work on patrol, so retired to be a scavenger. As a scavenger, he'd search land outside of the town, for any areas, ruins or abandoned buildings from the war for extra resources, food, or any useful supplies. He’d find some valuable trinkets or use scraps to make things which he could sell for a profit.

When Chase came into Simon's life, he took his role as a father very seriously, and made it his mission to be the best dad ever.
