About
Dev is the rather inconspicious leader of Vondervaille. While they are a man of few words and outwardly emotions, he has led Vondervaille longer than Toskanao's lands have been split apart. Dev has a hard time truly expressing xemselves, often times letting their actions speak louder than their words, which would happen anyways due to Dev's voice being considered rather soft and mild despite his towering and somewhat imposing appearance. Most denizens of Vondervaille tend to forget about their leader due to xyr repeated absences on most days other than major events and holidays since he is the one who is meant to officiate them. While most people dont't mind this as their governing body isn't a control freak, some do wonder where Dev goes off to when he isn't spending time in the office or with his family.
Story
Much like us on earth, no one in Toskanao can control the circumstances of their birth, Dev has learned this more than anyone else could of. Dev was dealt a strange deck and xe had to play it. Dev was born in the void, to the God Sangueiss, the representation of tricks and pranks. It was not a joyous moment for his father, as Dev's birth was a punishment put onto him for particularly harmful tricks being played on the people of Toskanao. For 20 years Dev had to live with his father in the void, who could be kind, and abusive in the same thread of sentences.
When xe found out he could be freed from the void lands, and away from his father, Dev took it. Without as much as a good bye Dev left his father to his lonesome in the Void realms, never seeing him again until long after the great split.
