In public, Eric carries a neutral and distant personality, not wanting anyone to know what he’s thinking or how he’s feeling, the only person to have broken down these walls is Leon. He feels both annoyed and relieved with Leon’s blasé attitude towards him.

E ric grew up in a coastal city on Kräftö. He was the son of a long line of army men in his family, which helped pave his path to becoming Commander.
His strong views against magic and summoning tools came from firsthand experience of the dangers of the tools and the control of the sea beasts. His hometown was damaged when someone woke up Kräftö's aspidochelone with a summoning tool with the purpose of controlling the sea. Ever since then Eric has believed in not disrupting the sea beasts for any purpose.
He was recently promoted to Commander with control of his own ship. His first task was to arrest Leon and his crew once it was found out Leon was on a voyage of finding the Moving City. With his recent promotion, Eric feels pressure on delivering what he promised along with enforcing his ideals.

First met at a card game where Eric won Leon’s gold ring. Eric was tasked with arresting and capturing Leon and his crew.
DEADLOCK
Made a deal with Deadlock to work together to capture Leon unaware that Deadlock plans on doublecrossing him to control the sea beasts and the sea for himself.
