Zabargad (Zabar for short, or Zabby if you're friends) is an exploratory soul who loves to travel the world. He loves to adventure and has done any number of "extreme" activities or hobbies in his pursuit of knowledge, including scuba diving into blue holes and cenotes, going on week-long spelunking expeditions, hunting for signs of the past, and traveling to some of the most exclusive places on the planet. Nothing brings him more joy than discovering artifacts from the past and feeling connected to those that lived there thousands of years ago. He's a strong believer that artifacts should remain in their countries of origin, and fights for the reappropriation of artifacts that have been taken by foreign explorers in the past.

Zabby's character is inspired by an amalgamation of both fictional and nonfictional people, explorers and scientists and cultural phenomenons, including but certainly not limited to the fictional Indiana Jones, Benjamin Gates (from National Treasure), and the nonfictional Josh Gates, Coyote Peterson, Jeremy Wade, and others.
