Little boy who wants to see his parents again

1999, May 22th
The day when Owari was born with a family that was very happy to get a child. The happiness of those was interrupted quickly, when their son immediately began to show alarming signs saying that he was dying. Frightened for the life of their newborn, they began to run about the doctors, begging them to help. One of these doctors turned out to be a laboratory scientist, developing a relatively new project - LifeSupport, who successfully arrived today to pick up the stillborn for experiments. Going to meet with an ambiguous proposal to give their child to test a new project, he did not have to persuade heartbroken parents for a long time. They were ready for anything, if only it would give them a little hope that their child would be alive. Better to agree to the dubious than to do nothing - they decided.
The experiment was successful, a strange mechanical collar with a blue cross appeared on the neck of the child, which cannot be removed (or is impossible to remove) at all. Owari’s immunity and vital signs have improved in a positive way. On the other hand, he became a kind of cyborg who had parallel advantages. Parents were entrusted with the knowledge of a certain code word, which could switch Owari to a support state when he behaves like a robot so that he can be configured, or simply forced to do something.
Parents were against this, confidently believing that they would not use this code and that Owari would live like an ordinary boy. In the future, this belief will turn out to be wrong.

Owari lived normally, fully. He had nothing to complain about until he went to kindergarten, where he first found out that not all children have this strange thing around their neck, and that his white pupils are not normal. Parents tried to console him, but this shock was ingrained in his behavior, and he became more insecure and very shy in front of strangers.
At school, he first finds himself a friend in the person of Jewel Goldenstone - the only one who first came to him to introduce himself. They quickly became best friends, and Jewel, with his vivid desire to help Owari get comfortable, began to introduce him to everyone else. In one of the parallels there was another girl who wanted to meet them. Her name is Clover, and she was very fond of sweaters. Owari was intrigued, because he, too, constantly wore sweaters. Having become fascinated with her interest, they later began to speculate that they would like to learn how to knit in the future.

She also tied him a green sweater, inspired by the pattern of someone else's clothes from an old school newspaper, she made a mistake and knitted it for an adult size. Owari was not offended and promised that he would wear this sweater when he'll become a teenager.

Jewel picked the creation of trinkets. Figurines made of wood, or simply recycling any garbage into something interesting and creative. Everyone began to get involved in something, and Owari admired it.
Their friendship should have lasted long if Clover had not died in one of the unsuccessful road incidents.The whole incident is captured right in front of Owari's eyes, leaving him in shock and panic. Adults could barely send him home so that he would not watch this scene.Further, on the basis of this alarm, another terrible incident will occur.

Owari gets himself trapped in a burning house, standing over his breathless parents with a kitchen knife. Not knowing, what did just happen. Bursting into tears and panic, he would not be able to get out of this house. At this time, luckily for Owari, Jewel noticed the burning house of his friend, and rushed to get help. Watching through the window, he saw Owari stanfing there helplessly. Without any caution, he courageously opened the window and took Owari's hand to get him out of there.

Many years have passed. No one knows about what really did happen to Owari's parents and their house. Forgetting every detail about this day, Owari believes that his parents are alive and just traveling somewhere, forgeting that he even existed.

Now, this boy has so many things on his shoulders. These hidden memories of the tragedies, and his new alter ego - Ruby, which he had become. His life is filled with strange phenomenons, and he's determined to know why. Why does this keeps happening to him?

-Personality-

Survivor of a burned-down house. Has no memories about this event, but still got burns on his left arm and leg.
Sometimes he don't understand his own emotions and becomes angry out of frustration. He is afraid of being used and forgotten. Ruby is having troubles being honest about his own feelings and often doesn't realise when he is lying. He is still behaves like an confused little kid.

He is super loyal to his friends. Sometimes he can make harsh jokes, but always apologizes if he gets carried away. Ruby can be super territorial and very protective over his friends.

Ruby doesn't like romantic themes. He still thinks that humans are gross and kissing is BWEHHHH. He don't want to be in any relationships if it's not revolves around being friends
Blood makes him so uncomfortable he can start hiccupping. It's the main reason why he hates red color

Ruby is really embarrassed seeing himself or others without clothes. He can't even shower being completely naked, he is too shy. He won't go in any public restrooms and bathouses.

-Timeline-

• 1-10 years old - Simple days being alive
• 11 years old - Lost Clover, his parents and living under school roof
• 12-14 years old - Met Shadows and turned into Ruby. Runs away from school, leaving Jewel behind
• 14-16 years old - Makes his way to the magical academy
• 16-20 years old - Ruby now is one of the oldest and experienced students. Has more freedom and can provide tips and tricks to younger kids
• 21-onward years old - On his long awaited quest, Ruby Destroyed the artefact created by Bastian. After that, he broke the curse and became his old self - Owari.

• Future - Meets his old friends, and goes on his personal adventure to Break the curse and let the red souls free
• Finale - Changes his appearence back, and starts going by the name "Owari" instead of "Ruby"

-Headcanons-

1. Every Christmas Ruby makes him and his friends matching Christmas  sweaters. Sometimes he forgets who he has already made a sweater for and  will make another. His friends used to wear the sweaters and feel  embarrassed but now they all wear it with pride and enjoy their dorky  matching. meretricious
2. Ruby has different hand writing styles and practices calligraphy when  he writes notes. The style he writes them in dictates how vital the  memories/information is. timeandtimor
