-Even though he could probably easily find and capture Veleno, if he does run into the other Rjovnn, he does the whole song and dance, pretends to give chase, pretends to be too slow, or unable to shoot him. He has too much respect for the ex-scientist. After all, without the renowned Valen's little "poisoning" of the ruler, the country would have surely suffered further, already on the brink of extinction.  Rasmus grew up in that country and was one of many who suffered at the ruler's cruel greed.
