Corderoye was in the foster system as a kitten, and it took a bit, but eventually he was fostered and formally adopted by a lovely couple. They were, and still are, fantastic parents to Coderoye, with unconditional love and support for him. One of his moms, Salem, taught him how to knit and he took to it immediately. She has kept all of his projects - even the very first attempt, which was bumpy and missing stitches, but it’s perfect in his moms eyes. In the early years of school, Corderoye was advanced for his age, he barely had to put in effort and memorizing things was easy. He struggled with speaking aloud though - he always had a stutter, and he would get teased for it by his classmates, which made him not want to speak at all. Once he got to high school, it wasn’t so easy - he had so many classes, so much homework that it overwhelmed him, he was supposed to be smart because that’s what everyone has always said he was. It was frustrating, and he couldn’t help but feel like he was a failure because of this. His moms helped him through, and he managed to graduate with good enough grades - not as good as he’d have hoped. With the latter half of school career severely affecting his self-esteem, he opted to go into the work field instead. Thankfully, there was a position open at a local craft store and he jumped at the offer. He has happily worked there ever since.

He is demisexual omniromantic

He has been diagnosed with autism and co-morbid ADHD as well as generalized anxiety disorder.

Oftentimes, he'll just carry around his tail. He hates getting his tail dirty, and especially hates if it gets wet.

Corderoye is rather thin and gangly.

He also likes to sew and crochet, but prefers to knit. His favorite thing to knit are scarves.

He loves to gift his friends with handmade items (sweaters, scarves, hats, ect.)

Corderoye has to wear glasses to read.

His bed is covered in soft stuffed animals.

He has a cubby that is filled with all kinds of yarn. He also has tons of different knitting needles, crochet hooks, and several sewing kits with different kinds of thread.

He also has an extensive button collection.
