Personality

Geo is someone with a natural curiosity, always seeking out the truths of the world… or at least, whatever they hyper-fixate on for that week. Recently, Poison-type Pokémon have caught their interest, with her Gligar being a subject of great importance. After all, it’s a Poison type, look at it poisoning whomever it attacks!

Geo has the tendency to be petty, reckless, competitive with the right people, and an overall source of chaos. She’s always ready to get close for her field research, yet is oddly knowledgeable and caring for those close to her, having spent an entire afternoon making sure her Venonat, Mia, got used to her.

To her friends and family, she can come across as a bit absent-minded, but that’s just a coincidence. She’s very aware of the things she’s supposed to pay attention to, and always makes sure that there’s a part of her brain dedicated to keeping track of said things. She’s also excellent at quickly coming up with solutions to issues she runs into, due to having a mindset that’s well suited to it. Finally, she is very caring to those she is close to, including her Pokémon. She always keeps their best interests at heart, and takes mostly good care of them… mostly.

Appearance

Geo is a boyish-looking individual with caucasian skin. She tends to keep her dyed, blue hair tied up in a rough ponytail, and has her bangs somewhat trimmed. She has pierced ears in which she wears a variety of earrings, most common among which are the ones that look like little Gligar stingers..

She tends to dress in purple shirts, and wears quite tough denim overalls out in the field. At home, she has more loose-fitting sweaters to toss over a simple shirt, and weather-appropriate attire for the seasons that hit harder in the Tumbridge area..

Relationships

Erin Maple

Geo first met Erin during the bug-catching competition held at Sunny Park. They were part of the same team alongside Lily and Nova. The four of them ended up winning the competition due to catching a Vespiquen, Wurmple, Venonat and Pinsir, and got to beat up some bug fanatics in the process.

Afterwards, they ended up meeting again on a free boat ride that they won tickets for. Sadly, the boat ended up crashing and Erin, Skipper, Hermes, Pearl, and Geo got stranded on an island watched over by Tornadus. There, they met a rude Skrelp that preyed on a Feebas, found Servanian Ekans and Piplup, and stopped another one of Team Crimes’ evil plots. Once they made their way off the island, Geo suggested a group picture, for Erin to remember them by… as it became obvious Erin had a bad memory.

Backstory

Geo is a Serva kid, through and through. Their youth was mostly spent drifting from obsession to obsession until the age of 7, where a local professor was telling them all about Pokémon typings. When the professor explained how Steel-types were immune to Poison-types, Geo remembered how a Duraludon once went down to a Salazzle.

When Geo asked about it, the professor was a bit condescending, and Geo vowed to undo his life’s work. She started doing experiments with Poison types, commonly involving taking their attacks head-on. As a result, she developed a unique battling style where she supported her Pokémon up close to take notes on other Pokémon.

As part of this, Geo spent a decent bit of time keeping in shape, often going on walks along the mountain trails nearby. During one such walk Geo had just gotten Staryubucks, and a local Pokémon swooped down from the mountain-side, being enticed by the smell. This Pokémon, a Gligar, ended up brawling with Geo, who smacked it down, having had experience with pesky Wingull trying to steal her fries. The two weirdly bonded over that, and Geo had officially caught her first Poison-type Pokémon! (not.)

Present Day

Geo was first seen on a request for the Fairy-type Club, for V. A young lady called Madison was asking for an escort towards a nearby city, so she was one of the people assigned to the staff. Eventually, it turned out Madison was just trying to prove herself to her grandfather, but the overprotective man sent some people to look for her. Oops!

After this job Geo went to the Sunny Park Bug-Catching Competition, where she met up with Erin (among others). During this competition, she helped out a scared Venonat, Mia, who was on the run for Team Bee, a group of Bug-Catching Fanatics. Her team ended up winning that competition. Soon after, she took on a part-time job to pay for Mia’s feed, at a local delivery service. Team Crimes was trying to get in the way of her and her comrades (Ben, Lily and Larinessa), but the Tropius were able to get them to their goal.

After this, she won a ticket in a raffle, going on a boat-tour on the famed Sinnoh, a small ship, and Geo decided to go as a way to challenge her fear of motorised vehicles. Meeting up with her fellow passengers, Pearl, Hermes and Erin, the ride went horribly wrong, with the four of them, alongside the captain and his Aipom, ending up stranded on Pokeymanz Isle. There, they had to contend for survival, finding a bunch of wild Pokémon along the way, chief amongst which was a Skrelp that Geo caught. Team Crimes was also trying to capture the local population of Servanian Piplup, destroying the island’s untouched nature in the process. After battling Team Crimes, Tornadus emerged, trying to take its vengeance, but the four of them helped fix the island and got a ride back home.

Trivia

Has developed a level of immunity to conventional poisons due to her experiments.

Cooks regularly for her family and Pokémon, and mixing up the meals will only cause mild discomfort in humans.

Has a mild addiction to coffee. Long nights spent researching did not help this. Her Gligar actually made things less bad due to snatching the coffee.

Keeps her Pokémon in Venin Balls, a custom type of Pokéball she designed and developed.
