Dissonant Cry is an average-sized Scavenger with a brown coat of short fur and bright red eyes. Their head, forearms, and tail are a darker shade of brown while their chest bears a chevron-shaped lighter brown marking. The spines along their back, of which they have eight in parallel rows of four, are also a lighter brown. They have one pair of eartlers which are short and wide, as well as one pair of short whiskers, which both fade into a bright pink color. On the right side of their forehead, they have a scar in the shape of an 'X'.
