Missy lived with Basset practically her whole life cosidering her parents left her as a child. Eventually they started dating. They didn't have much, but what they did have was enough for Missy. Basset kept his fighting a secret from Missy until small injuries started to appear all the time. Having had an interest in medicine Missy was able to treat Bassets wounds. She demanded to know where his injuries were coming from and Basset gave in and told her. Hating seeing her boyfriend hurt all the time, she begged him to stop fighting and that they could find another way to make money to survive. Basset refused to give up fighting and continued on. After treating the worst injury that Basset had ever gotten, Missy once again asked Basset to stop figting, this time he agreed. After an altercation with Jack, Basset, who was injured, challenged Jack to a fight. Jack and Basset agreed that if Basset won then Jack would give him as much money as he possbly could, and if Jack won then Basset and Missy would join his crew. Jack ended up winning the fight. Missy took on a role as an assistant doctor to Blackbird.
