Lyle is just that guy, you know the one, the guy that pretends he's the best but when actually asked to back up his claims finds ways to weasel out of responsibility.

This man came from a place of poverty, but regardless he still somehow developed a massive ego. Perhaps this came about when he was in school and was always praised as being a certifiable genius. Which isn't far from the truth - he is highly intelligent.  Unfortunately, the praise only served to put him on a pedestal above his peers and give him his first taste of superiority.

On his fifteenth birthday he immediately left home, having found out that "easy" money could be made traveling as a maestro and killing scherzando. He pooled together every bit of money he could get his grubby little hands on and managed to buy a Dragon resonator. Dragons were the best in his mind, and he couldn't do better than that.

His new resonator was strong yes, but Lyle himself is a weak maestro. Through some stroke of luck, the resonator he bought was patient and kind to him despite his shortcomings and as such she earned his respect and is treated more like a friend and confidant rather than like a tool.

Which brings us to how he treats other resonators. He has gone through his fair share of resonators, but none were as patient and as strong as his first. He runs them ragged, treats them more like things than people. Where with his starter, he treats her exceptionally well.

So close to greatness, yet he'll never get anywhere as long as his ego continuously sabotages him.

Misc Facts

• Given his history, he's quite good with his clothes, buying top brands and managing to keep them looking pristine despite their age
  • Despite this he tried to add his own flame motif to his current attire, but it's more of a suggestion 
    • He's quite proud of the job he did and won't tolerate disparaging remarks.
