September Rains is a vampire living in Philadelphia, who wanders the night looking for her next victim. She loves nightlife and will often partake in partying, going to bars, and meeting new people. She attracts drunk people to her apartment and convinces them that donating their blood is super cool and random. She gets most of the blood she needs to survive by preying on partiers. While she loves meeting new people she doesn't value any of the connections she made out partying because everyone she meets will eventually die and leave her alone to keep growing older. While she doesnt think she can make meaningful relationships, being around people soothes her loneliness in the moment.

She lives in a run down apartment with no windows which while terrible for most is perfectly fine for a creature of the night. She likes getting take out while the sun is out, and likes to harass one of the overworked delivery girls who works at her favorite chinese restaurant. September calls her Moped after the vehicle she rides around, and doesn't know her actual name. Over the next few months she grows closer to Moped and other characters trying to forget about their daily life in the night.
