901, also assigned the name ‘Caleb’ by the daughter of his creator Colette Marie Sanford, her father Mr. Roland Charles Sandford, who is an inventor for mechs, robots, androids and synths of all kinds. Although Mr. Sanford is a rather serious, formal and strict man, his daughter was a humorous, trouble-making tomboy who took more interest in working on old machinery than creating new inventions like her father. She also did not dress like her family expected her to, instead she primarily wore her oil-stained working clothes and knee high boots. She wore these clothes while she tinkered around on old automobiles, motorbikes and vespas she scavenged from junkyards or collectors of all kinds. Caleb always supported how young Ms Sanford was, cherishing her friendship and the fact she treated him more like a person than a machine.
The two have a family-like relationship and sometimes pick on each other like siblings, Caleb being the first to be irritated with something, being generally moody himself. In front of colleagues and higher ups, Caleb is equally strict, tough and formal like his superiors and Mr. Sandford himself.

Colette is also the reason Caleb takes such a strong interest in old vehicles and has developed the same hobby over the years since the two worked on the same projects when he was off duty. Originally Caleb had been designed to be an android for the military and he served for many years in the military before he retired after a freak accident that permanently damaged parts of his body.

Being sent home, Colette patched him up and offered to have him work in the police force instead, which he reluctantly agreed to. He has been working for his city's police force since then while still living with Colette in her fathers house she inherited after he had died from a rare genetic disease that affects the muscles and motor skills of a human that Colette also has been battling with herself for years. One of Caleb's goals is to find a cure for Colette as well, or at least help her achieve her goal while protecting the people, which is also one of her goals, keeping the people safe.

• His eyes & innards glow, also any colourful parts on his synthetic skin glow additionally 
• He has tattoos on his 'human-like' skin though most of his skin is black synthetic thick skin or metallic
• Spends most of his off duty time either tinkering on old cars, motorbikes, vespas etc. or sleeping/napping (he trained himself to sleep, he couldn't naturally do so before) 
• Sometimes has dreams though rare and will try to explore them 
• Caleb doesn't have a gender or sex preference but he does have a visual type and that is individuals who are more slim / less muscular or bulky than he, he also has a thing for unnatural coloured hair
  He dislikes blondes because his boss is blonde, he does not like his boss very much 
• Has a white cat named 'Jojo' who is a synth like he - he 'used' to be mortal but he was modified so much to where he is essentially a 'synth'.
