Flash is a very happy child and quite well adjusted. He behaves better with his father, and gets away with more with his mother. He knows both parents love him very much, even though they share custody of him. Flash has a very loving family support system, making for a very wholesome childhood so far.

Light: Mother
Light is Flash's devoted mother. Flash spends most of his time with his mother and his uncles in the Namina Halloween Kingdom. While he has lived there he has picked up some... bad habits... Kind of encouraged by his mother.
Austin: Father
Austin is Flash's devoted father. Austin is kind of the voice of reason in Flash's life. Everything Austin does is for Flash, and Austin constantly tells Flash how much he loves him- as Austin never had parents.
Berribell: Father's Friend
Berribell is Austin's friend, and Flash likes her very much. Berri enables some of Flash's chaos to an extent.
Backstory
Flash was an unexpected child, but welcome in the lives of his parents. After a spontaneous fling, Light became pregnant with Flash, and seemed unbothered by the sudden dramatic turn in her life. Light shrugged off all the panic that her own parents had for her, and shrugged off the panic Austin felt when he found out. Light also declined Austin's marriage proposal, as she didn't feel it necessary to commit to a man she just met, and had a one night stand with. Light did, however, allow Austin to be a father to their baby, but also gave him a full pass if he wanted to dip out of his life. Having absolutely no family of his own, Austin fully embraced fatherhood.
When Flash was born, Austin left his job early to be present for his birth. Light did a lot of cursing and grunting, but interestingly didn't scream or cry bringing Flash into the world, almost like the pain was annoying more than anything. Austin was eager to hold his son, but of course let Light do what she needed to do first. Austin full-on cried when he finally held Flash in his arms. He didn't want to put him down for anything. Austin spent the next few days with Light and her family, helping out with Flash wherever he could. Sadly, Austin had to go back to work, but he was realizing that he probably needed a better job to support his new son.
Flash grew up mostly in the Namina Halloween Kingdom with his mother- being raised by not only his mother, but his grandparents, Cassidy and Yang, and his uncles Darien and Chip. His father got custody of him nearly every weekend or so, and while he was with his father he learned about basic manners and boundaries. His father spoiled him rotten, but learned he couldn't get away with nearly as much as with his mother. However, this didn't sway Flash's feelings for his father- as his father always made sure he expressed just how much he loved his son.
Living with his mother, he learned a variety of skills and tricks- and his uncles saw to it that he learned everything. Flash was learning stunts that most people didn't learn until they were much older. While his grandparents fretted about his safety, his mother encouraged him to try everything, and at least his Uncle Chip made sure his learning was safe.
When his father got a job with Shire, Flash was introduced to the horses and cattle on Shire's farm. The girls doted on Flash, and the bulls and calves enjoyed playing with him. Austin also introduced Flash to Berribell, his good friend, and coworker. Flash enjoyed seeing Berribell because she was very eager to play with him whenever he visited. Flash also noticed that his father very much enjoyed Berribell's presence as well, and as kids do, he made sure his mother heard about it- and thus his mother and uncles had to mettle.
