Island Name & Hometown: Ash Islands, Sanlow
History: Prudence grew up in a small rural town in the Ash Islands. While she and her family struggled to find money, her family received quid-pro-quid type assistance from a mob family from Sanlow due to the mob family wanting to pay them back for a favor Prudence's family unknowingly committed.
Once Prudence turned eighteen, she moved to Sanlow as a part of an agreement that her family had: "Let your daughter work for us or expect a great reckoning." She worked as the family's maid to avoid doing any of the dirty work, although she felt guilty that she lacked the power necessary to get her and her family out of the hold that her new employer had.
Prudence was eventually whisked away into a glamorous new life when the heir of a rival mob family snuck into her quarters. Feeling as angry as Prudence was about not being able to enact proper justice, the heir by the name of Blythe offered Prudence a chance at moving to Ethovalon to become a rescuer.
