Morgan "Umbra" Connelly

One half of a pair of twins, Morgan and her brother Greg grew up in the small and secluded town of Red Oak, Maine with little parental influence. Between the disdain of her peers at her transition and the pair's very visible mutations in their late teens, Morgan was no stranger to humanity's intolerance towards those who are different. After a public display of power during a fight gets them run out of town, Morgan and Greg moved to New Salem ,NY.

It was there that Morgan met Todd, Lance, Callisto and Dorian...and that she'd find herself growing tired of the constant bending over backwards to fit in while Mutants were persecuted around them. When her brother joined the X-men, she found herself irritated with the Professor's approach and declined their invitation. Joining Magneto's new Brotherhood of Mutants instead, Morgan embraced the name 'Umbra', and set out to fight for her mutant brothers and sisters...even if it meant fighting society itself. And even if it meant fighting her own brother.
