Misu is a cheerful merfolk who enjoys meeting new friends and relaxing, having a good time. They can usually be seen getting their "beauty rest," popping open oysters, or even bird watching near the surface. Misu can understand, and enjoys chatting with, other underwater creatures. They can be found arguing with crabs, probably telling them to "keep their little pinchy hands to themselves!"
Misu doesn't have a specific place they live, opting instead for pre-determined hideouts and just letting the current take them various places or nesting down in kelp forests, feeling safe from predators. They're constantly on the lookout for ships since that is usually where they can sell their pearls to land-dwellers, exchanging them for pretty gems, stories, or tasty treats not found in the ocean.

Crafting
Misu will craft jewelry and clothing out of various materials - kelp, seashells, gems, etc. for fun and is very adept at it, with nimble fingers. Because Misu doesn't often wear clothes themselves, it's more of just a "one and done" hobby.
Singing
Misu can temporarily enchant or daze predators with their singing voice, but the trick is that they can't be too distressed in order to do it. So, chances are, if Misu were already caught or being chased and freaking out, then they would be unable to use their ability and unfortunately need to rely on speed and/or hiding spots.
