Ornias

Ornias's birth was a tragedy for biological mother: his demonic features revealed a deception that destroyed her life. An incubus had impersonated her husband and tricked her into bed to feed on her pleasure, leaving her to celebrate the resulting pregnancy with her actual husband. He was initially thrilled for the birth of their first child, only for it to turn to disgust and anger when instead she gave birth to a half-demon. Her pleas for forgiveness and understanding fell on deaf ears, and she was thrown out on the streets with her monstrous spawn. She was abandoned by her family and friends for the crimes of having an affair with a demon and bearing its offspring, and she abandoned her infant - the mark of her treachery - in the woods, in the hope that he'd perish and free her to live a normal life again.

Instead, Ornias was found by a young woman named Iolanda Czerny. Despite having no interest in raising a child, she took pity on the helpless infant and gave him a home. She named him Evgeni and raised him herself, not caring about his infernal heritage or cursed birth because hell, she was already a nobody peasant who had to steal to survive, how much worse would carting around a demonic looking kid make her look? Not much! Iolanda didn't have the means to give him the best life - though it was definitely much better than being left to die in the woods! - and she had a realistic attitude about his future: a half-demon probably wasn't going to be rising through the ranks of polite society, so she taught him to how have quick hands and to slip through places unnoticed.

They split ways when he was in his late teens, and he took a new name- Ornias. He wanted to distance himself from Iolanda - they'd separated for safety, since two thieves working together is much more noticeable - and he didn't want to risk her getting to dragged into any trouble he was in. Ornias also wanted to see the world on his terms, because despite his dangerous looks and upbringing on the wrong side of the law, he wanted to do something artistic with his life. He knew it wasn't realistic, but deep down, he wanted it. So Ornias set out to see what the world had to offer, seeking new experiences as he found them.

During his travels, he met Gany and Cliq, and the rest is history...
