Appearance

Blackbird is a tall (7’0’) anthropomorphic black bird with a blue head. His beak and legs are silver. His eyes are bright teal with a silver curved pupil.

He wears a matching combo of a blue fedora and sleeveless vest with silver buttons and a bowtie.

Personality

Blackbird is shy and passive; he hates conflict and is wary about anyone bigger and more powerful than him. He is by no means above grovelling to keep himself out of danger and is flat out pacifistic. He can be described as a 'goody two-shoes', adhering to what is right. He attempts to let things not get to him, having methods to cope. Hes a patient and kind guide to his charges and doesn't ever get frustrated. Hes bookish and on his down time, likes to read and write.

History

A more relatively young imaginary friend than his peers, Blackbird strives to be a good mentor and guardian. He lives a solitary life on his down time in a seaside cottage with an extensive library, mostly of his own writings. While he does write novels sometimes, a lot of the books wherein serve as journals and records which Blackbird uses to compartmentalize his long memory.

Blackbird's most recent charges were the Piccoli twins, LP and Liam. He tried to protect the pair, telling LP to exercise caution and Liam to come out of his shell a little. However, on a fateful winter morning, he was away. He returned to find LP had fallen into a frozen lake and died and Liam traumatized from the sight, things he would blame himself for. He tried his best to be there for Liam but as the boy withdrew from others, he was forced to say farewell to the boy.

However, recently, he has checked in to Liam to find good news: Liam was doing better and even more surprising, LP was alive! He'd love to meet the pair anew but this is something he only plans for the meantime, lest he comes off wrong.

Skills

As an 'imaginary friend', he holds a degree of power despite his relatively young age. He has limited illusion abilities, usually using them to appear human. Though these illusions can be seen through. He can summon objects from other places but doesn't like to do it to things he knows belong to others. A unique trick he has is that he can eject his feathers like quills, preferring to use it as a distraction than an attack.
