Basics
LP, despite what his family knows, is very much alive if not in the form they last knew him in. His time away from them has had a devastating impact on him, making him quick to anger and quick to defend himself. He used to be a crueler person, in some attempt to make himself feel better, but eventually found all it did was make him feel even more hollow. Nowadays, he’s trying to claw himself out of the hole he’s got himself into. It’s a…work in progress.

About
Appearance
LP is a short (4’10”) skinny man with dark grey skin and red “tattoos” on his face and body. He has neon green claws on his hand and feet that glow in low-light. He has a hefty dark green tail with glowing neon spots on it. He has medium length black hair which he wears with his bangs over one eye. He has heterochromia, making his left eye (which is often hidden) cyan with black sclera and his right eye red with black schlera. He lacks a traditional nose and has reptile-like slits in place of it. He has shark-like teeth that are jagged and uneven. His bright green tongue is forked.
He often wears over-sized sweaters and sweaterpants. He nearly always wears his hat which is jade green, has a sort of “tail” to it and has a dull purple emblem on the middle.
Personality
LP is standoffish, and at his extremes, hostile at first meeting. He’s generally short-tempered and even in his better moods, comes off as grumpy and grumbly. Despite this, he does remember his upbringing and strives to be a good person. His instinct to things that frighten him is to turn tail and run but in a pinch, can defend himself if need be. In a good mood, he has a light-hearted, albeit often cynical and sarcastic tone. He is truthfully very lonely and tends to put himself out in an attempt to make others like him or to make friends, as he craves companionship.
He has a tendency to get defensive when he’s nervous. He’s most comfortable and safe when he feels in control of a situation. While he doesn’t necessarily hate how he looks, he still feels self-conscious about it and dislikes being called a “demon” because of it.
Despite the powers he has at his disposal, he doesn’t often use them, feeling somewhat ashamed of how he used them in the past to bully others. When he does use them, it’s usually for himself and to make his life easier. The only time he uses them for defense is if he feels like there’s nothing else to do.
History
Youth
Despite how he appears today, LP was once human. He lived with his parents Konnie and Daisy and his twin brother Liam who he was very close to. He was always the leader to Liam’s follower and often tried to get his brother to do risky things to make him less nervous. This backfired when, in an attempt to have his brother follow him onto a frozen lake, he walked out onto it to show him it was safe. It was not and he plunged through the ice. While Konnie was able to arrive soon and rescue him, the damage was done and he died due to hypothermia on the way to the emergency room.
In a twist he himself doesn’t understand, he was resurrected in Cyberspace as a “cyber demon”. Young, alone, and scared, he was forced to fend for himself. However, after learning his new abilities, he teleported right back into his very grateful family’s home. Still, the experience colored him, making him a clingy child and then somewhat broody teenager. His mood turned however after Liam’s onset of schizophrenia when he realized, despite Liam lashing out at him, he needed to be there for him.
Adulthood
Now an adult, he enjoyed his independence, moving out of his parents’ home first. But on his own, old traumas resurfaced with little ability to reconcile, making him a somber adult. However, few would know this, due to his snarky exterior.
After being dragged along to a carnival he didn’t plan going to by Alabaster, he found himself attracted to him, despite himself. He always found excuses to be with him and even realized that Ally was having a profound and positive effect on him. He wishes to become at least somewhat better because of him.
Skills
His transformation into his current form has left LP with a few powers. He can teleport, levitate a short distance off the ground and manipulate technology and electricity. He has an accelerated healing factor, able to heal faster than the average human. He can summon small objects to himself. He has a very small pocket dimension he can use to store and grab a handful of items.
He’s good with computers, even without his cyber abilities. He also has an interest in gardening, thanks to his momma Daisy. He has a surprisingly green thumb.
LP’s weapon of choice is Cycleave, a black scythe with green crystals and a red ribbon tied around the handle. While it isn’t his original scythe as a teenager, he holds onto it for sentimental reasons and in case he needs defense. When not in use, he stores it in his pocket dimension (unless he wants to display it).
Trivia
- He is severely allergic to citrus.
- Like his twin, he likes coffee but unlike him, will not drink it unless it’s mostly creamer and sugar.
- He has a severe phobia of water, specifically larger bodies of it. Anything larger than a bathtub would send him into a panic attack.
- From when he was young, he used his initials as what he’d like to be called, to the amusement of his parents. He’s more than a little self-conscious about his name but wouldn’t admit it, if only to spare his mothers’ feelings.
- Due to his mother Konnie being half-Italian, he himself is 1/4th Italian.
- Due to his current cyber status, any contact with a glitch could seriously hurt him and slow down his regeneration factor, making it a long and arduous process to heal. Luckily, being on Earth, he isn’t likely to come across this.
- His previous scythe was named “Cryptocoda” but has since been lost, something he regrets.
- LP was created in 2013 as “The Let’s Play Curse” a malicious entity that targeted Let’s Players, specifically Curse. His origins were mysterious, only being connected to Cyberspace, but one concept had him created by Konflict and Matka. He’d be reworked into a more mundane and less malicious character.
