Jester

Jester is a member of Ding Dong’s collective, now displaced. Upon the group's fracture when Ding Dong was first cursed, Jester was caught by the gods and imprisoned within the folds of reality. He can be seen only by those with cursed eyes, trapped in the heart of Uto's fever where he sits chained. People walk both past and through him, unable to hear or see him unless they too have been influenced by the gods. Whenever a rare passerby has the ability to see him, he turns on the charm in hopes they might attempt to free him, or at the very least give him some of their time (or food). Most consider him a pest or someone far too batty to give the time of day to, and so for years he remained trapped.

Being a prisoner of the gods, Jester had already survived their initial attempt to destroy him, leaving his eye cracked and his body scarred by dissection. Bothered by his continued presence, they decided the next best thing would be to torment him by trapping him in plain sight, taking his ability to socialize, entertain, and connect, yet leaving it just outside of his grasp. He was targeted for his proximity to Ding Dong, and many would consider him Ding Dong’s Counterpart. Occasionally Ding Dong will wander past Jester, having long forgotten the CCCat in his current state.
