Delilah

RP History:

Delilah was a surprise baby. Somehow Rena didn't know she was pregnant, and unexpectedly went into labor during an event, that Clora was fortunately at. Everything went smoothly and she was born without incident... all the while her father and his best friend were fighting off a band of ruffians that were outside unbeknownst to Clora and her mother for an unknown reason.

The moment her father saw her, he was instantly in love. Delilah was absolutely the apple of his eye, and gave her so much attention that her first words were "da da". Whenever something was an obstacle for her, he was there to help her through it. When she got a little older, he began to train her in the art of swordplay, to which she was very good at.

As Delilah got older, she got more independent, and as a teenager she met a boy named Seth. Seth came from a neighboring kingdom, and he had fled when his parents were killed by the ruthless and tyrannical king that ruled over there. as time went on, Delilah found herself in love with this odd green haired boy, much to the dismay of her father who felt Seth wasn't good enough for his little girl. This was something he had to put aside when Delilah eventually married Seth, happily.

Early on in their marriage, Delilah became pregnant with twins. Her parents were eager to meet the new arrivals, and Seth- although he was a proud father- was incredibly nervous. Everyone became incredibly nervous when Delilah went into labor early, delivering a set of premature fraternal twins, a girl and a boy. Clora wasted no time rushing the preemies to the next room to look them over and make sure they would make it, and to their relief, the early twins were fine and in great health. Seth named his daughter Lorry and Delilah named her son after her father, Ralph.

Delilah watched her children grow up healthy and active. Ralph- or as he was best known, Lil' Ralph- was the jokester of the two, always getting into mischief, and Lorry was incredibly smart and seemed to experiment with the world around her. She was eager to learn about everything, and she was constantly reminding her brother that she was the oldest.

One day Delilah felt ill, and strange things began to happen to her. Gangs of thugs kept trying to get a hold of her. though she was capable enough to hold her own, her father and Seth usually did their best to help her. Ralph had seen this before the day Delilah was born. groups of ruffians and thugs were out to get Delilah, but no one knew why. Delilah felt a strong head-ache, and after the battle Ralph took her to Clora. when she arrived, Clora looked guilty and told the group she had a confession to make, and led them all inside.

Clora explained that the day Delilah was born, the tiny newborn infant was clutching some sort of stone in her hand. as she cleaned Delilah up, she had taken the stone before giving her to her mother. She confessed to have been studying the stone all Delilah's life, researching whatever it could be. Clora reveals to them that Delilah is the reincarnation of a Goddess from the kingdom's mythology, only for real. the thugs they encountered were Goddess hunters, and seek the stone she was born with, as it is the source of her power. Clora shows them all the stone that was shaped like a shooting star, and revealed that Delilah was the meteor Goddess, La Terra. There was a moment of hesitation before Clora went on to say that Lorry and Lil' Ralph's premature birth was no accident, and confessed that she had slipped Delilah something to induce labor. She seemed ashamed as she explained, but kept on. She told them that she wanted to know if her children would also be Godly incarnates, and when she rushed them out of the room, she was looking for more stones. No such stones were found. she apologized again and again, and Delilah was quick to forgive her. Clora explained that the illness and headaches she was feeling were her powers reaching maturity, and it was time to give Delilah back the stone.

Delilah had tried her powers a few times, but deemed her powers way too risky, and doesn't usually resort to using them unless absolutely necessary.

It wasn't too long before Seth began to think about his people under the tyrannical rule of King Mar. He wanted so much to free his people and avenge his parents. of course, Delilah was at his side, and was with him all the way. She aided him in the dangerous fight with the king, using the skills she acquired learning with her father growing up. When the battle was over, the kingdom was so over-joyed that they begged Seth to be king- although he didn't want to be king, the crowd really didn't give him much choice. Seth was a king now, and Delilah was his Queen.

though not everything was happy when Seth became king. as Mar was a jealous brother who killed his sister to become king, The council agreed that Lil' Ralph should be banished, to avoid any possibility of a jealous sibling assassinating the other. Of course this didn't sit well with Seth, Delilah, or Lorry. Lil' Ralph was a very laid back guy, and had no desire to be a king, He loved his family, and would never dream of killing any of them for power... but here he was, getting banished from a kingdom that he meant no harm.

Seth was not enjoying the royal life, and Delilah missed their old life together. Lorry felt sorry for her parents, and made a sacrifice for them. Lorry stepped up to being queen, although she would rather not. the council insisted that she were to be married, as there must be a king. be begrudgingly agreed, and a party was held to find her a husband. it was like a fairy tale, but Lorry was not much for such things. She was soon married, and she freed her parents from the responsibility of royalty.

Delilah and Seth were free, but they visited Lorry often. She sent her love to her brother, whom she missed dearly. but she had to be tough, she wouldn't allow for anyone to think she was weak. She soon gave birth to her son, Zeke, and she was not permitted to have any other children. Delilah and Seth were proud grandparents, and sent along the message to their son that he was an uncle.

time passed and Seth passed away in his sleep one day. Lorry was distraught to hear this news, especially since she couldn't be with her father, or say goodbye to him. Delilah was also heartbroken, and couldn't believe he was gone.

many years passed and Delilah eventually met a nice guy named Matoah, and fell in love. it wasn't long until they were married, and had a daughter, who- to Clora's surprise- held a stone at birth. they named her Arna, and decided to have Clora keep her stone safe until she was ready to whiled it herself.
