About
Some kind of construct that was intended to be a weapon/soldier but kind of got loose & self-actualized. Still very destructive but only for her own purposes, at least until a brave heroine sealed her away in a jar and taught her how to control her urges.
Since talking her out of being a totally chaotic killing machine went surprisingly well, Hands has become something of a poster child for the controversy over whether constructs qualify for personhood or not. She's not....the IDEAL representation, but the people on the 'yes they definitely have the capacity for personhood' side of the argument is making it work with some kind of PR magic.
On the one hand she loves that her presence strikes fear into the hearts of everyone around her and wants to milk that fear, but on the other hand she doesn't want to disappoint her heroine(/wife). Also being viewed as subhuman is kinda a shit gig and she would like to be allowed to enter certain buldings & go outside unaccompanied w/o legal repercussion.
Personality & Outlook
A dramatic cartoon villain personality-wise, but with meditation and being too petty to go back to being a slave to her instincts she's much less destructive(but not....none destructive).
Dramatic, Angry, Possessive. Confident, honest, Must Give Her Opinion On Everything. Must threaten everyone she meets at least once. Shows affection by threatening your enemies on your behalf.
Doesn't understand the concept of mercy, extremely bad with children that are not her own(not because she suddenly has maternal feelings/instincts about them because they are hers, but because the appropriate course of action when interacting with the hellspawn is to fight them off before they devour you like a swarm of piranhas).

HANDS
They sprout from her like weeds. And also rescind into the depths of her flesh like garden eels. Depends on how she's feeling at the moment.
Powerhouse
Superhuman levels of strength, could probably rip you in half like a party popper full of intestinal streamers. Has the bite force of a crocodile or some shit.
Relationships
Silvia [future wife]
Hands does what she is programmed to, and lays waste to the countryside. The Inhabitants Do Not Appreciate This, so they call an exterminator. She is Very Hard To Kill though so instead of slaying her, Silvia sealed her in a jar with some sticks & leaves & they bonded while Hands had nothing to do but sit on Sylvia's desk all day & scream about it. Silvia teaches her to be more than a monster, and teaches the world to accept that. Hands loves and respects her powerful captor/future wife.

HELLFIRE & GORE, abominable & unnatural creatures skulking in the dark, fire on the horizon, distant screaming.

Q: What stops you from being an endlessly limbed monster at all times?
A: (IC) "As long as I have more limbs than anyone else in the room my dominance is assured. Also it would be hard to see if I were sprouting every available arm at all times."
Q: You said you were made to be a weapon? Who made you? Do you think of them fondly or do you resent them?
A: (IC)"When a mommy monster and a daddy monster love each other veeerrry much--Just kidding, there was no daddy, but I was born the way most creatures are....I came out of an egg and then ate my mother. And several of my siblings. She could have been made some other way by some monster-maker human but all I really think of her after having offspring of my own is that she was weak to be taken down by such pathetic larvae."

Q: In story, where did the name Hands come from?
A: (OOC) IN UNIVERSE UUHHH.. Well her creator only assigned her a string of numbers so when it came time to take an actual name she wanted to go with something descriptive, that highlights a feature of herself she's very proud of. So it was either HANDS as a name or BLOODBATH HELLRENDER: UNMAKER OF ALL and Silvia decided to encourage her to go with Hands. Basically for PR reasons.
Artist Notes
- does not have hair, those are antennae (there is no obvious hairline)
- based on a centipede, p buglike. So if you need to improvise something to work better w/ your style i guess stay away from mammalian traits?
