About

Dormousepaw has always been rather skittish and on edge when around others, and even when alone at times. There are very little moments where the young cat isn't sat vibrating with stress and anxiety. They're constantly overthinking things and working themselves up more than they really should do.

On top of this, Dormousepaw is known to struggle with keeping secrets. They really struggle knowing information that they can't tell to anyone else. It builds up and usually comes out in an outburst. Additionally often these secrets hold a lot of weight, especially when you haven't specifically been told these secrets, but learnt via your own power to read the thoughts of your clanmates.

Based off of a Garden Dormouse

Kithood

Dormousekit was born within MoorClan, to a single mother, Lavenderwing. Their father was never named within the clan nor stepped forward. Dormouse was born increadibly small and frail, there were many times when they spent nights within the medicine den making sure he wouldn't lose his young life. One specific day while within the medicine den their mother having been so sick with worry over their kit, ended up losing her life herself. The following days were hard on young Dormousekit, from then they were raised by the queens within the nursery. But one night, within their dreams, Dormousekit was approached by a cat from the Dark Forest. Granting Dormouse a gift, what gift it was the cat didn't say, merely chuckled as they left Dormouse alone in the dark. When Dormouse awoke they could hear voices everywhere. As the days passed, they learnt that they were hearing the unspoken thoughts of their clanmates. Over the last few moons of kithood, they learnt how to isolate these voices so they don't get too overwhelming, although there are times when they can't control it as well and they do end up getting overwhelmed with the amount of voices and words that are thrown at them. Often cats would look at them odd as they would answer or reply to things said that weren't said to them, but were floating within the thoughts of others.

Apprenticeship

Finally Dormousekit reached the ripe age of six moons old, and was ready to become an apprentice, they were given ___ as a mentor and are following the path of a Tuneller. Being in the dark of the tunnels turns out to be a very relaxing place for the young apprentice to hide out.
